This cat carrier is perfect for taking my cats to the vet. The kitty pictured is one of my adult cats (9 y/o, has to go to the vet on the regular for kidney disease check-ins and IV treatment) who loves to hide when stressed, but hates to not be able to see out of a carrier at will. This carrier is sturdy, has plenty of space inside for an adult cat to sit or lay down (curled up, not stretched out) and the bottom panel can be removed for easy washing. The clear panel on the front can be wiped down easily if it gets marked up with pawprints or anything else. The straps and back of the carrier are padded for comfortable and easy carrying. My only complaint is that the interior does get hot and, while there are mesh panels and large rivet holes, it doesn't have particularly great ventilation. This carrier is great for fall, spring, or even winter (in temperate areas, not actual low temps) but I don't recommend it for summer trips. Your can can become overheated if you live in a warmer area or the bag will be under direct sunlight for an extended period of time.Overall, I'd definitely recommend this carrier for travel, whether to the vet or even on a plane. It's a great size, looks just like the product pics, and is easily washable.I really do like this backpack. I’ve had it for a couple of years now but unfortunately didn’t get much use out of it until I adopted my newest fur baby. My older cat, who I originally bought this for was way too big. It was extremely uncomfortable for him and he did not like it. His weight has ranged from 11-14lbs and at none of those weights was he comfy in this pack. However! I have a one year old kitten how is about 8-9lbs and she is pretty comfy in the bag. If she was any bigger I know she wouldn’t be, so hopefully she doesn’t grow anymore lol. But she fits well and isn’t squished. When her and her litter sibling where a couple months old I fit them both comfortably in this backpack and took them around town to sightsee. So for kittens and small cats this is a great sturdy pack and has held up quite nicely! She can sit up, lay down, look out, or snooze. It does get a little hot in the car in the summer , so I keep an air vent right on her, otherwise she’ll overheat. But give her the choice between the enclosed and outer one, she’s all about this one. Four paws up!I bought this kind of as a joke at first to see my boyfriends reaction when I brought our cat on our walks. Little did I know how much my cat would enjoy it. He loves being able to be outside and this is a much easier way for me to take him on little trips even to the vet.Kitten fits great nice flat pad for her to stand on and a little door on the side for her to come out. She like playing in it and feels safe when we take her outside. The back pack straps are a tad small for my husband to wear but fits me perfectly. Everyone loves it you will get lots of compliments. My kitty loves this backpack! We introduced her to it by placing it on the floor with a few treats inside. Eventually, she began to use it as a "safe haven" when her sister wouldn't leave her alone, because only she can fit inside. We've taken her to the vet and on walks with it and we get so many remarks on how cute it is! The backpack has held up well and is a great product.Everyone loves seeing my little dog in this carrier. We were traveling so she went with us in this carrier. She was the hit of the day. People loved seeing her and often would stop and comment on how cute she was. We got this when she was a puppy and had no trouble with her staying in this. Lightweight to carry as a backpack or by the handle. This is a winner. We have two deaf kittens who absolutely love traveling. This backpack keeps them safe and allows them to see (and smell) what's going on around them, whether we take them for a bike ride, a hike, or to the grocery store. And people love seeing them; they've become like local celebrities! They really enjoy their outings and we enjoy the peace of mind in knowing they're safe. I'll be buying a second one; they're getting too big to share! This would definitely be better for a small cat, our girls pretty big but she sort of likes curling up in small spaces so this was totally fine for her, but definitely something to think about if you have a large cat. Otherwise totally love it! Pretty comfy, love the colour, I like wearing it on the front to keep an eye on her and it works just fine! I still can't believe how much she enjoys being carted around in this! So happy my boyfriend got it for me. The only "issue" I have is the size, wish it were a little larger and the dang plastic wrap was very difficult to get offBought this so my cat can go on walks with me and my 3yr old Golden Retriever and he loves it. After a short walk we got home and he was laid down in it.my female kitty is pretty small only 6 pounds and she fit in it really well, As for my larger boy whos 13 pounds he was very squished in it and did not work well for him.Overall love the bag! the side pocket was perfect for my water bottle. we took my cat to the mountains with us and I think for long extended periods the bag would get pretty warm but over all she seemed pretty comfortable. The plastic of the bag is pretty durable but does scratch pretty easy (expected that) I will say that the straps are not comfortable against bare skin. was very scratch around the armpit area and had to change from tank top to tshirt to use it comfortably over all would give the bag a 7/10Love it! She can now see everything! Just right size for a small cat!Love it! Worth the price, and look at the pics she likes it too..Just got it, so Haven't took her out yet to see her reaction..I'm sure there won't be any problems♡
