Stylish, light weight, my 14" MacBook pro fits perfectly, and it's quite hardy. After 3 months of intense travel, it looks as good as new. It is small, but fits enough for a weekend trip. Only drawback - does not have a band to go on suitcase handle. Perfect otherwise!Es el artículo que exactamente necesitaba para cualquier viaje corto o de un solo dia.Perfect back to school pack for our first grader. Our “almost-teenager” wants one too! Slim pack will hold a small laptop, lunch, notebook, pencils/pens, and school essentials. Not for carrying loads of books.great** Actually 4.5 stars **First of all, I largely love this backpack. I have a bit of a "bag" issue as I love all kinds of bags and am always looking at whatever is the latest. In this case, the pack's a hit (with one exception which I will explain later).Style: I have the black color, with orange zipper pulls and I love it. It's sleek and simple but the orange gives it just enough of a pop of color to not be boring. It doesn't look like you are about ready to hit the trail at any moment, but yet doesn't have that stiff, uptight design that looks like it's trying too hard to be minimalistic.Quality: Very high. The stitching, zippers, materials are all excellent and it is a very well-made backpack.Weight: Light weight but still sturdy. It has enough structure and heft to the materials to keep the contents protected but is very light compared to many backpacks - absolutely perfect!Comfort: The shoulder straps are well padded for such a light weight pack and it's comfortable to carry.Functionality: This is were it really shines in my opinion. There are enough zippers and pockets to hold a laptop/iPad/Kindle, a mesh zippered pocket inside (which is brilliant) where I keep things like my airpods and other small items that are of higher value, and a zippered pocket on the front where I can keep my car keys for easy access.Versatility: Excellent. I've been using mine to go to the gym where it doesn't feel out of place. I've also used it to go to the grocery store and run errands around town and it is appropriate for that as well. I haven't yet used it for travel, but it would be a perfect personal item on an airplane or could easily be packed flat in a larger bag to be used for an every day carry at your destination. I love it!Where it loses 1/2 a star: The water bottle pockets. They are very small and I can fit a disposable water bottle in there, but not my CamelBack reusable water bottle. Just a bit of extra material here could have made the backpack a perfect 5* for me. The fact I can use a disposable one means I have a work around (I just refill one over and over until it starts falling apart) but I would much prefer to be able to take my reusable one. I am not sure any reusable water bottle will fit.Overall: I love this backpack and am using it for many purposes very successfully. Well-made, well-designed, and highly functional, except for the size of the side pockets. Fix that in the next version and it will be perfect. This is a pretty nice small backpack. The amazon point of sale photos have the bag made up to look its absolute best. And although it doesn’t look quite as plush and perfectly formed in person I was impressed. For a $15 backpack it’s pretty nice.I have been taking it to work and, though small, it carries quite a lot of stuff.I can put in my 60 oz thermos with built in tea infuser no problem. It’s also just big enough to tuck a legal size notepad in the back or my 15” notebook. My 15 inch notebook is a Dell XPS 15 which is similar to a Macbook Pro. And it just fits into the large pocket at the back. I do have to pry the outer cover of the backpack over the edge of the notebook but it’s not forced. There is also a zippered mesh pocket in the front side of the main compartment. On the outside you have a large zippered pocket at the front and one smaller pocket at each side. They look smaller than they actually are and will take a regular size soft drinks can. It’s quite a comfortable pack to wear on your back since it has a padded back wall which is also covered in mesh to allow some ventilation between your clothes and the pack so moisture doesn’t accumulate to easily. The straps are two inches wide and nicely padded. For its size it can carry quite a lot. A large thermos, writing pad, packed lunch or small handbag, or a warm fleece if you’re expecting it to get cold later. Mine is all black with bright orange tags on the zippers which makes the zippers easy to find in low light conditions but also makes the pack look a bit more upmarket.I think it’s a great light weight pack. It will go well with casual clothing but not look out of place alongside more formal business attire. You know what I like about this backpack….that it’s straight forward, no frills. It’s not flashy, it’s fairly innocuous being all black and is suitable for an adult of any age or gender to carry.I like the orange zipper pulls bc that makes it easy to find them. There are a decent amount of pockets too but not so many that you’ll find yourself ransacking thru the bag trying to find where you stashed something. And zipper pockets and the bag itself is very accommodating in terms of capacity. I have been able to stash quite a bit in here, including a full change of adult clothes, sweats and shoes. And I still had some room left. The straps and back of the bag is decently padded. Not super deluxe like jansport or something of higher quality but definitely more than you usually find at this price point. The only thing that I am not fond of is the designer’s (?) name or brand on the front ‘Pacearm’. I wish manufacturers would omit these names because they usually make no sense. I don’t know if it’s because maybe the name was in another language initially and got lost in translation or what. That’s a nitpicky observation on my part and not a reason to dislike or not buy/carry this bag. It’s a keeper in my book and being as that it’s all black, my boyfriend can use it too so that’s an added bonus.I hope my humble opinion and pictures have helped you in some way.Thank you for reading.
