This backpack is my favorite backpack and I use it for EDC with and without a Camera.I have used a myriad of different backpacks and camera bags. This backpack excels over every other bag that I have used by being far more versatile and functional. Many other camera bags I have used are just that... Camera bags and nothing else. It is hard to even flex them into other functions because they just have compartments for lenses and camera bodies, with maybe a tiny section for small flexible storage. On the other side, many backpacks I have used are very much either heavily inspired by school bookbags, and or Hiking bags. I never carry things as large as textbooks, nor do I need such a large single compartment that most hiking bags have. This Tenba DNA 16, is intelligently designed with an upper and lower section (which is convertible to a single section if so desired, like a more traditional bag). I love that I can put items that I seldom in one section and items I need far more frequently in the other section. The roll top design is an excellent feature, with the two pouches which are great for containing items for quick access. Probably my favorite feature is the camera insert which can be easily removed or added, depending on whether or not you are bringing your camera gear. I also really love the appearance; it is very stylish and does not look like a camera bag.If I had to list Cons they would be:1. Waist belt is pretty terrible. I have removed it and would only use it on an extremely heavy load.2. The 16inch Laptop pouch BARELY fits my 16inch laptop. My laptop can only go in one way, and it is a pain in the butt to put in and out.3. I would love if the rolltop compartment had more storage or pouches, it can sometimes be a little hectic with only the two pouches, and they barely hold nikon 18-35 lens which is not a very big lens, so they are quite small.None of these cons really affect my use of the product and none of them rise to a point where I would drop the rating of the product, as I am really fishing for cons here to be honest and critical. I absolutely love this backpack and I am very happy with the purchase, and the versatility has made this my EDC anytime I need a backpack, with or without camera gear.I would highly recommend the Tenba DNA 16, doubly so if you are into photography and are looking for a do-it-all bag.
