The rack my home networking equipment resides in is tapped #12-24. I work for a large telco company and #12-24 is standard for our industry. I could have taken thousands of #12-24 at 1/2" from work, but I needed 3/4" which is banned by QA standards.Since my rack and most equipment is black, I wanted black oxide finished screws.
