- OK, yeah, it's a machine screw. No big deal, right?, UNLESS you've had a hand-worked project halted or even ruined because of something as supposedly-trivial as a junky fastener with poorly-machined threads, and/or made of some cheesy material that strips the threads and/or head, or even twists and breaks off in the middle!, the instant one tries to actually use it, and/or is of inaccurate length, inaccurate or uneven diameter, and so on. It's amazing how many ways something so small can go so wrong... - These, however, are as described:a decent-strength stainless, accurately machined, properly sized. And a decent finish, which matters since they'll be partially-visible in my project. They also will last long without corroding, and the finish won't get all pitted and so on. Once I smooth and polish the heads, they will *remain* smooth and polished. - So yes, I do appreciate the smaller things in life. - Including - oh yeah, you *know* I'm gonna say it, LOL!!! - a really good screw!
